CafePress

Just looked at my recent sales numbers on my cafepress account and noticed some (all t-shirts) through ebay and amazon.com – that’s a new and welcome sales stream (small volume though).  I didn’t even know cp was selling my products through amazon and ebay…  Hopefully I’ll sell more including some mugs and stickers….

If you are looking to make a little extra money I really do recommend print-on-demand (POD) services like zazzle and cafepress.  CP isn’t as shopkeeper friendly as it used to be so you’ll have to decide for yourself whether the margin is worth your time…..  I used to make a lot more through CP until they changed their revenue sharing model and drastically reduced how much I make selling through their marketplace.  If you can drive your own sales in your own store then CP is still a great way to go.

New online store launched – mugstate.com

mugstate.comWe launched mugstate.com last week.  This is a fairly simple front-end to a Zazzle store utilizing their RSS feed.  The site is focused on selling coffee mugs.  They don’t have a large selection yet, but are planning on adding more over time.

For the site we made a very simple template focussing on coffee and coffee beans with browns as the predominate color on the page.
